R & D Activities
Focus is on Knowledge Management (KM) and Information Communication Technologies (ICTs).
KM: Data representation techniques, data storage, data security, digital rights management of information, evaluation of search engines for information retrieval and revival of Indigenous Knowledge Systems.
ICTs: Impact of ICTs on livelihood of people, evaluation evaluating of existing models & proposing new models that are self-evaluated by technology life cycle techniques. Further, contextual focus on last-mile connectivity, optimization of hardware, tailors made software and appropriate content creation.
